South Seas Inspection recognizes and believes in the importance of using and leveraging of information and new technology as a mechanism in achieving company growth, and more importantly providing enhanced services to our customers.
The SSI's interactive website provides our customers with the ability to view and update inspection reports seamlessly online anywhere in the world; the internet also enables our customers accessing new information on services provided by South Seas Inspection.
South Seas Inspection has also developed a unique set of in house software tools for Derrick Inspection, Dropped Objects Surveys, High Pressure Piping Ultrasonic surveys, Lifting Gear Surveys and Critical Load Path Inspections.
Additionally, we promote Tallys, a Tubular Inventory Management System that:
- Improves communication between the pipe yard and the pipe owners.
- Tracks all incoming and outgoing pipe Tallys.
- Tracks pipes by pipe owner based on Tallys.
- Facilitates advanced search functions available for Racks, Tallys, and Stock cards.
- Provides pipe degradation summary reports.
- Provides a thin client / server architecture.
- Provides a secure web based which is simple, intuitive and easy to use.
- Facilitates detailed queries and reporting.
We have the latest version of computer-aided drafting (CAD) software - AutoCad Mechanical which allows us to design and produce concise drawings. The program features a built-in 2D finite element analysis (FEA) and standard-based libraries of steel shapes, fasteners, shafts and other components.
