As with our Derrick Inspection software, SSI has developed reporting software for Dropped Objects Surveys. The program can be used as a stand alone application or we can combine the Dropped Objects Surveys with the Derrick structural inspection.
SSI is currently using this software for a number of Drilling Companies operating around the globe, where the criteria requires surveys of any or all of the following areas:
- Derrick Structure
- Lower Substructure / B.O.P Deck
- Cantilever or Moonpool Area
- Post & Gantry Cranes
- Leg & Jack housings
- Radio Mast
The program incorporates a corrective action section, where defective items can be extracted in categories of risk, recommended remedial action entered and date recorded when an item is closed out.
Reports can be printed directly or the Spreadsheet data can be extracted in various formats, including excel and pdf, for ease of distribution.
The inspection reports can be accessed online from our web server by authorized clients.
The next stage of the procedure is to implement the recommended corrective actions which are easily tracked in the software using the data already recorded.
