Picture Book

The Picture Book is a web application with the purpose of setting up maintenance procedures after DROPS being conducted on the rig that identify equipments and items mounting on the derrick, cranes or other areas above height that have equipments that had potential for DROPS hazard. The intention is to consolidate a list of inspection criteria for each common item found on a rig, such as flash-lights, sheave, safety gates and so forth. Each equipments or item should have a specific instruction on what to be inspected.

The guided steps is to provide rig maintenance personnel in simple and straightforward instruction to identify condition such as correct fastening methods or to a worst damaged condition that may require immediate attention. A frequency control is set for each item periodically in weekly, monthly, quarterly and so forth to ensure a regular routine check for preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, updated, changes and corrective actions and safety measures. These check lists group by area or derrick section are usually printed out and be placed at their respective areas for easy reference and be noted for any satisfactory follow-up.
