Inspection Services

Our OCTG Department provides drill pipe inspection services in accordance with latest API, DS-1, NS-2, manufacturer and customer standards. We employ:

• Electronics Magnetic Induction E.M.I. for continuous wall loss measurements.
• Magnetic Particle Inspection to detect surface and near surface defects.
• Full-length Ultrasonic Inspection to detect subsurface defects with superior thickness penetration.
• Full-length ID & OD cleaning process to brush OD, rattle and clean ID, remove scale, rust and internal deposits.(35k UHP Water Jet Lancing Unit available for ID Cleaning).
• Pin and Box connection re-machining for rethreading with accordance with API / or proprietary manufacturers specifications.
• Pipe Straightening for drill pipe and heavy-weight drill pipe.
• Refurbishment services to extend the life of your drill pipe and provide assurance of high quality inspected joints.
• Hardbanding - any of five different types of Hardbanding can be applied, in smooth or raised condition, according to customers' requirements.
